MD & CEO
Mr. Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi has a thirty-five years experience in the field of management. He spent twenty six years working for the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation Etisalat. He experienced several leading positions, including the General Manager of Etisalat Ras Al-Khaimah and the Chairman of the board of directors of Etisalat Zanzibar “Zantel”. He led a team that managed to win a license for Etisalat to operate in Sudan (Sodetel). He also served as a board member of Arab Satellite Organization (ARABSAT) for fifteen years, and he was the representative of UAE in the Arab League Permanent Committee for Telecommunications in Cairo, in addition to many other positions. He graduated from the British Royal University.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Paul joined RAK Properties in January 2014, as Deputy CEO, equipped with over 25 years’ of real estate development experience working on large, complex projects in the UAE, UK, South East Asia, North America, Caribbean and Africa, including leading the delivery of six large-scale master planned community developments.
Paul has developed strong relationships with RAK government and enjoys developing and providing coaching to young talent and diverse multicultural teams.
Prior to joining RAK Properties, Paul was Director of Development at Sobha Developers, and he was Director of Development for “Najmat Abu Dhabi’ and “Rawdhat Abu Dhabi” at Reem Investments, where he exhibited his leadership skills alongside strategizing and planning skills.
Paul also worked as Deputy Project Head, for a globally integrated real estate master developer, Limitless Dubai.
Paul holds BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Mohammed Al Tair, Chief Operating Officer of RAK Properties PJSC; he joined the company in 2008 and has played a key role in business development perspective, development of project marketing plans and personal participation in various projects developed by RAK Properties. Mr. Al Tair is a hands-on person who works closely with the operational team ensuring that all RAK Properties projects are completed and delivered on time.
As Chief Operating Officer, he reports to the Managing Director & CEO. Aside from overseeing the day to day operation of various departments; Mr. Al Tair also participates in the planning and formulation of conceptual design alternatives and solutions to ensure that all RAK Properties projects are complying with the corporate strategy. He also works with various governmental authorities to ensure the timely achievements of RAK Properties project.
During his 7 years tenure, the business reach and growth of RAK Properties spread tremendously and has gained the attention of other Real Estate Developers in the Global Market.
Mr. Al Tair holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master in Business Administration.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. M.J Joseph is the Chief Financial Officer of RAK Properties PJSC. He is responsible for the overall financial leadership of RAK Properties which includes financial and management reporting, financial planning and control, corporate finance and investment. He has over 30 years of robust hands on experience in Paper, Automobile, Chemicals, Cement, Electronic and Home Appliances, Dairy and Reals Estate industries in India, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Preceding to his roles at RAK Properties, Mr. M.J. Joseph held various senior finance positions including Regional Finance Controller at Almarai Company Limited, where he managed the financial and commercial operations in UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait. Prior to Almarai he worked in India.
Mr. M J. Joseph holds M.Com-University of Madras, FCMA- the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, ACMA - the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK. He successfully completed the CS- the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds membership in CMA- US and CPA- Australia.
Legal Advisor & Board Secretary
Amer joined RAK Properties as Legal Advisor and BOD Secretary on February 2009, with over 12 years experience, Amer’s main responsibilities include implementing corporate governances rules , the legal processes required to affect the privileges, obligations, and rights of the organization, advising officials on government regulations and legal rights, advising regarding transactions of business concerning internal affairs, directors, stockholders, officers, and corporate relationship with public.
Prior to joining RAK Properties Amer was the legal advisor of Electricity Regulatory Commission in Jordan during the period from 2005 -2009. He also worked at HE Ghaleb Al Zoubi Law Firm in Jordan as an Advocate Trainee in July 1997. Following his admittance to the Jordanian Bar in July 1999, Amer worked as a senior associate until 2003. Amer’s key qualifications and expertise are in general practice specializing mainly in real estate investment, due diligence reports, international trade matters, international trade matters and foreign investment. He has advised individual and corporate clients on Commercial, Investments, Companies, Labour and Social Security Laws.
Amer holds Master degree in International Business Law from Oxford Brookes, Oxford - UK (LLM), with a Bachelor degree in law from University of Jordan.
